The Students tab, located in the sidebar menu, is your hub for managing and tracking progress for individual students.
Clicking a student's hyperlinked name will take you into the profile view; this is the starting point for analyzing a student's progress and assigning them work.
In this profile view, you'll find the following (see a diagram of these tools below):
- Be Them: Temporarily log in to the student's account. Learn more
- Settings: Reset your student's password or change their email address if they are struggling to login. You can also change their name and username information.
- Time Online: See a student's engagement with the site within the last week, and click View Full Report to see a longer time range.
- Exam Progress: See your student's exam progress and results. Learn more
- Recent Activity: See scores and completion date for recently completed test sections and practice exercises. Click on any of the sections under "Student Answers" to look at the answer choices and time spent for a section.
- Edit Prep Plan: List of items currently in a student's Prep Plan. See which Prep Plan recommendations and homework assignments a student has completed in Completed Work. Create new homework and edit existing recommendations using the teal buttons on this card. To update the Due Date, double-click the existing date. You can choose to Assign or Delete the system-generated Recommendations for each student. The blue hyperlinks indicate practice exercises. Learn more
- Edit Teacher Notes: List of notes added for the student by their teachers. Teachers can create new notes that their students will see when clicking the Teacher Notes button in their Homework tab. Teachers can also edit or delete any published notes or drafts they have added for a student, and view notes created by other teachers in their network. Managers can view, edit, and delete all notes for a student. Learn More
| Note: The Be Them button allows you to temporarily log into a student's account and see what they see. If a student is having trouble navigating the site, or you want to change something in their account rather than taking them through the steps, this is where you go! Learn more |
Adding a New Student:
From the Students tab, you can either click +Create Students to purchase a new student account, or +Invite Students to have a student create a new student account or log into an existing Test Innovators account and get added to your educator account.
