Once you've purchased a package of tutoring hours, you will receive a confirmation email with your certificate code. If you set up an Acuity account to view and manage your upcoming tutoring sessions, you'll also be able to see that code when you log into your account.
Setting up sessions
To start, click on your tutor's direct scheduling link. If you don't have a direct link, visit one of our tutor information pages, find your desired tutor, and select "Book Now."

(HSPT students should visit our ISEE site and look for tutors with HSPT in the "Tests" section)
Note: We recommend sticking with the same one or two tutors throughout your sessions to build a stronger tutor-student bond and make tutoring more effective. |
Step 1:
- Click “Select” next to the "Book Test Prep Tutoring or Academic Tutoring Here!" option.
Step 2:
- Then, choose the length of the session by clicking “Select.”
Step 3:
- Then, you will need to confirm/set your local time zone.
- Once you select a date and time, you'll have three options:
Option 1: Select and continue (scheduling ONLY this appointment)
- To schedule this time only once, you'll choose “Select and continue.” Then, you can move on to Steps 2 and 3 to complete scheduling.
Option 2: Select and add another time (scheduling more than one appointment at a time)
- If you want to schedule multiple sessions on different days or at different times, click “Select and add another time.” All scheduled sessions will be shown at the bottom of the calendar.
- Any sessions scheduled in error can be removed by clicking “Remove” next to that session.
- Once you’ve chosen your last session, click “Continue” under all the selected times to move on to Steps 2 and 3 to complete scheduling.
Option 3: Select and make recurring (scheduling multiple appointments for the same day and time)
- To set up a recurring appointment, you will need to select the frequency and number of recurring sessions, e.g. every other Wednesday / repeated 8 times. First, click a day and time, and then click “Select and make recurring.”
- Now you can choose the frequency the sessions should repeat. To verify your selections, click “See Availability” in the upper right corner.
- Any dates unavailable on the tutor's calendar will be struck through in red.
- Additionally, any times that conflict with the student schedule can be removed by hovering over that date and clicking “Remove” next to that session.
- When everything looks correct, click Add Appointments in the upper right corner.
- The scheduled sessions will be shown at the bottom of the calendar. Any sessions scheduled in error can be removed by clicking “Remove” next to that session.
- Additional recurring times can be added by clicking the specific date and time in the calendar.
- When you are done adding sessions, you can click “Continue” under all of the sessions you have added to move on to Steps 2 and 3 to complete scheduling.
Step 4:
- You’ll be prompted to enter your contact information, as well as information about your student’s goals. If you have an Acuity account and are already logged in, this section should auto-fill. Once the information is filled in, click “Continue to Payment.”

Important note: The first email that you input will be the email address that tutors use for all their communication, including sending meeting links and follow-ups. |
Step 5:
- If you aren't logged into Acuity, you'll need to enter your certificate code on the payment page. Don't enter card information! You'll click the plus sign next to “Package, gift, or coupon code.”
- After applying the code, the system will show the total due as $0. Then click “Confirm” to finish scheduling.
