If you'd like to help your students pace their practice, you may wish to lock tests and release them over time. When a test is locked, the student will be unable to start it and it will appear on the dashboard with the tag Locked by teacher.
- Click on Class Settings in the upper right-hand corner from any page of your Educator Tools.
- Note: If you'd like to lock tests for students in a certain Class, first select the class using the Class drop-down on the left.
- From Class Settings, click on Settings next to Lock Exams.
- If you'd like to lock tests for an individual student, find the student in the list, then click the padlock next to the test(s) you want to lock. To unlock a test, click the padlock again.
- To lock a test for all students in the list, click on the test's padlock at the top of the column.
| NOTE: In your Lock Exams list, tests will be labeled with either "Available" or "Not Purchased". "Not Purchased" indicates that your student does not have access to this test; please contact us if you have questions about what your school has purchased. |
