If your child is working with a tutor partnered with Test Innovators, you might want to allow the tutor to have access to your child's practice account in order to assign practice tests, practice exercises, set up mock tests, and/or monitor your child's results.

For your tutor to gain access to your account and use the account as a learning tool, we will need permission from you as the account owner via email to connect your accounts. It is important to note that the tutor will be able to make changes within the account, including locking tests, as they see fit according to your child's individual preparation needs. The tutor must also have a Test Innovator's educator account.
There are two scenarios that may be applicable to you:
You purchased your child's Test Innovators account:
To grant your tutor access to your child's account:
1. Email support@testinnovators.com with your tutor on CC from the email associated with your account.
2. In the email include the phrase: "Hi, I am the owner of the account under (INSERT USERNAME/EMAIL), and I give (INSERT TUTOR NAME/COMPANY) permission to access my account."
3. Upon receipt, the Test Innovators support team will give your tutor access to your account within 1 business day.
*Note that the email address granting permission MUST match the email address of the account you're looking to add your child's tutor to. |
Your child's account was purchased by a school:
To grant your tutor access to your child's account:
1. Email support@testinnovators.com with both your school and tutor on CC from the email associated with your account.
2. In the email include the phrase: "Hi, I am requesting permission from the school to give (INSERT TUTOR NAME/COMPANY) access to (INSERT CHILD NAME)'s account."
3. The school must reach out and grant their permission via email, and ensure support@testinnovators.com is on CC. After permission is granted by the school, the Test Innovators support team will give your tutor access to your account within 1 business day.
*Note that the email address of the parent or student MUST match the email address of the account you're looking to add your child's tutor to. |
Once your tutor has access to your account, the tutor will then have the ability to make changes to your child's account, including locking certain tests. |
