Many students are eligible for more time on the ACT. Here is where you can learn more about ACT accommodations. In order to best simulate the official ACT, students can also add time accommodations to their online practice tests. |
Here's how to enable accommodations in your ACT account:
1. Log in to your ACT account and navigate to the main Dashboard.
2. From the Dashboard, click on your username in the upper right hand corner and then select My Profile from the drop down menu.
3. Under Practice Test Accommodations, select either extended time (1.5x) or double time (2.0x).
4. Click Save and you will now have extra time for any section that you have not yet started
Note: If you ever need to turn time accommodations off, simply navigate back to your profile settings and and click "No Accommodations". |
Should a student have other accommodations, please reach out to our Support Team (support@testinnovators.com) for advice on how the student can access these while practicing.
Some students may find it helpful to practice without a timer. We would recommend that students take at least one practice test with the timer on to understand what to expect on test day. |
Here's how to take a test in untimed mode:
1. Log in to your ISEE account and navigate to the main Dashboard.
2. From the Dashboard, click on Start next to the test section you’d like to take.
3. You will be asked how you want to take the section. Select Online, then once you’ve reviewed the section instructions, click Untimed mode. This will begin the section.
4. Take the practice test section.
Note: Once in Untimed Mode, you won’t see a timer, but can pause and end the section. You’ll need to select this mode for each test section. |
